Zaragoza Insurance Agency is seeking an energetic, dependable, and coachable Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a long-term career in the Insurance industry with a clear path toward becoming a Licensed Insurance Producer.

No insurance experience is required. We are looking for someone who:

Communicates confidently and professionally

Connects easily with people over the phone

Genuinely enjoys helping others

Is driven, ambitious, and self-motivated

Is comfortable starting conversations

Is persistent and able to handle rejection

Is coachable and eager to learn

Wants a career with growth and earning potential

We will provide training, coaching, and hands-on experience. You will begin as a Sales Development Representative, learn the insurance business, and work toward obtaining your license and advancing into an Insurance Producer position.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective customers.
• Follow up on internet leads and customer inquiries.
• Qualify prospects and identify insurance needs.
• Schedule appointments and transfer qualified opportunities to licensed agents.
• Maintain accurate notes and follow-up activities in our CRM.
• Build rapport while delivering exceptional customer service.
• Help generate new business opportunities for the agency.

Requirements

• Comfortable with outbound calling + inbound lead handling
• Strong, confident phone communication skills
• Goal-driven, reliable, and consistent
• Organized and able to manage leads in a CRM
• Coachable with a desire to improve
• Resilient and persistent (handles rejection well)
• High energy, professional, and positive attitude
• Motivated to build a career in sales (not just a job)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)? Even better! You'll be a huge asset to our diverse client base.
