Already have customer-service experience? Put those skills to work from home supporting nonprofit organizations and the donors who choose to support them.

Qualified independent contractors can select from available servicing intervals and provide professional assistance to donors calling established nonprofit fundraising campaigns.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, pays close attention to detail, follows procedures, and can remain professional while working independently.

You are not responsible for finding donors.

You will not:

• Make outbound calls
• Cold-call anyone
• Solicit donations
• Search for prospective donors
• Sell products or services

The donor makes the first move.

Individuals voluntarily call after responding to an established nonprofit campaign. Once connected, you assist them by following the campaign script and accurately processing their pledge or contribution.

• Receive inbound donor calls
• Provide courteous and professional caller support
• Follow approved scripts and campaign procedures
• Accurately record pledge and donation information
• Verify donor and transaction details
• Navigate multiple computer systems during calls
• Maintain confidentiality
• Follow compliance and quality requirements
• Meet established attendance and performance expectations
  

To be considered, applicants must have:

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months or more of remote customer-service experience OR at least one year of onsite customer-service experience
• Clear verbal communication
• Strong active-listening skills
• Accurate data-entry skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to work across multiple systems while communicating
• Dependable and professional work habits
• Quiet, dedicated workspace at home

Contractors must have the appropriate equipment before beginning service:

• Windows 11 computer
• Minimum 8GB RAM; 16GB recommended
• USB noise-canceling headset
• Wired high-speed internet
• Direct Ethernet connection
• Quiet and distraction-free workspace

Dual monitors are recommended.

MacBooks, Chromebooks, tablets, and Wi-Fi-only connections cannot be used for this opportunity.

There is no need to purchase equipment just to submit an application. Confirm eligibility and technical requirements before making equipment purchases.

Contract rates generally range from $13–$15 per hour .

Earnings may depend on the specific campaign and individual performance. Campaigns may provide servicing intervals during daytime, evening, and nighttime hours.

Independent contractors select from available servicing intervals. Continued access to campaigns is dependent upon factors including reliability, attendance, quality, and performance.
