JOB OVERVIEW: 

As a Flight Crew Member for the Colorado Eagles, your primary responsibility is maintaining the ice while also energizing the crowd and enhancing the game-day experience. You’ll work closely with the team’s entertainment staff to create an engaging atmosphere during home games and special events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Performance: Skating with a shovel to maintain the ice during the periods of play at all Eagles home games
• Practice Attendance: Participate in team skates prior to Saturday games to ensure proper endurance and skating ability
• Crowd Engagement: Interact with fans during games to boost energy levels and create a vibrant atmosphere in the arena.
• Collaboration: Work with the Eagles entertainment team to coordinate patterns for maintaining the ice and contribute to the overall game atmosphere

Qualifications :

• Previous experience skating (playing hockey, figure skating, etc)
• Proficient in all forms of skating, including speed, finesse, stopping, turning, etc.
• Energetic and charismatic personality with excellent crowd interaction skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Availability for evening and weekend events during the hockey season.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to be on feet for hours at a time.
• Ability to be in skates for hours at a time
• Ability to lift 25lbs (shovels, flags, buckets, snow)
• Good physical stamina to skate for extended periods.

Job Specifications:  

• Expected Pay Range: minimum wage

Shift type: Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays
